  • We have ramps down to the main entrance way, an automatic front door and lift access to the auditorium, meeting room 1, meeting room 2. We also have an accessible toilet on the ground floor. The is an induction hearing loop in the main auditorium.

    By Car

    From Livingston (M8 Junction 3), head for Uphall and turn left onto the B8046; through Ecllesmachan to Threemiletown. Turn left onto the B9080 to Linlithgow. Once in Linlithgow turn right at the traffic lights go under the bridge and then turn right after the roundabout. The centre is on the left immediately after the roundabout.

    From Bathgate (M8 Junction 4), take the A801 following signs for Linlithgow , continue on to the A706. As you come into Linlithgow, go straight ahead at the first roundabout, under the railway bridge and then right at the next roundabout. You’ll come to another roundabout at the east end of the High Street. Take the left cut off, the Centre is immediately on the left.

    From Edinburgh on the M9, come off at junction 3 and turn left. As you enter Linlithgow you should see a Tesco supermarket. The centre is directly opposite; turn right just after pedestrian crossing.

    From the West On M9, come off at junction 4 and take the A803 (3rd exit), this road continues on to Linlithgow High Street. Continue straight through the first roundabout you dome to on the High Street. At the next roundabout take the left exit. The centre is immediately on your left hand side.

    By Train

    Linlithgow train station is on the main Glasgow to Edinburgh line. From Linlithgow Station walk down the hill to the High Street, cross to the other side of the street and turn right. The Centre is the big white building on your left just past the roundabout.

    By Bus

    Linlithgow is well served by bus routes from all areas of West Lothian, most buses that pass through Linlithgow stop at Linlithgow Cross. From here, walk east towards the roundabout at the end of the High Street. The Centre is on the left, just past the roundabout.

  • Individuals who care about the Low Port Centre make up our membership. The Low Port Centre (LPC) is a two-tier SCIO with a geographic community which means local people make up the majority of our membership body and make decisions about what happens i.e appoint trustees and ratify the budget. This happens once a year at our Annual General Meeting. Anyone over 12 years old can become a member.

    Types of Membership

    Ordinary Members - Individuals aged 16 or over who are resident in EH49, EH30, EH48, EH51, EH52, FK2 and FK3.

    Junior Members - Individuals aged between 12 and 15 who are resident in EH49, EH30, EH48, EH51, EH52, FK2 and FK3. (Not eligible to serve as Charity Trustees)

    Associate Members - Individuals aged 16 or over who are NOT residents of EH49, EH30, EH48, EH51, EH52, FK2 and FK3.

    If you live outside of the geographical area but support the Low Port Centre you can become an Associate member. Associates may attend and speak at General Meetings but may not participate in such meetings for voting or quorum purposes. Associates will be eligible for appointment as Co-Opted Trustees.

  • A partner has either dedicated full time space in the centre or hires a space once a week for three consecutive hours, 40 weeks of the year. A partner in return receives up to 50% discount on all room bookings.

  • The code of conduct is the expectations that we set for all who use the Low Port Centre and call it HOME. All community groups and businesses who use the Low Port Centre have demonstrated their ongoing commitment to the centre.
